Bought this album 2 months ago from an Italian shop but it never arrived (at least I got my money back), so I may be a little happier about your post than others - cheers! :)

Thank you so much for all of the wonderful post. Do you think you will ever post the Ahmed Abdullah Life's Force recording? It's an lp I lost a flood in a few years ago and was very excited to see it here. Again, thank you for wonderful post.

Many thanks for the 'Life Force' post. This record sounds like a winner. :)

Does anyone own any vinyl from About Time Records? I'd like to pick up the Ahmed Abdullah and Jerome Cooper LP's, but I'm curious about the pressing quality. I've heard one Threadgill LP ('JTFAPTB') from this label and it was quite noisy throughout.

this was a sealed copy, and found it just fine. did have a copy of bert myrick on strata (not east) that was a bit ropey.

here i discovered Ahmed Abdullah, so i drop a link for who is interested.
it's a live at Old Cabell Hall, Virginia University in 1990, about two hours of very good music, very rare too.

I am new to your blog.
Thank you for this wonderful recording.
I am looking for a posting that was available 2 years ago originally on El Reza's blog. Wondering if it is still available for download.
"Eero Koivistoinen Kvintetti & Sekstetti - Odysseus 1969"

Very much appreciated if reposted.

Blessings,
Yusef

your blog takes me back to sweat stained Sunday afternoons in Dingwalls .... unfortunately Los Angeles has no ear for any of this fine music.
