Nancy Wilson

Nancy Wilson
This Mother's Daughter. Capitol 1976.

Sweet summer soulfulness from the beautiful Nancy Wilson. There's some big hitters supporting Ms Wilson on this hard to track down lp. George Duke, Blue Mitchell, Dave Grusin, Hugh McCracken, Steve Gadd to name but a few. For me, it's Chuck Rainey's bass that wins this contest hand down. Swirling strings, heavenly background vocals and perfect production from Eugene McDaniels are all to be found on this killer track,

"From you to me to you"
