John Heartsman and Circles

John Heartsman and Circles (Jazzman 030)
Music with a Touch of Class
1976

One of the best ever re-issues in my humble opinion. Gerald (the jazzman) Short has pulled a super rare private press special out of the hat this time. I followed an original of this on e-Bay recently, finally hitting the heart-stopping figure of $5300! The whole thing is highly recommended, try having a listen to Mr Magic, with a heavy guitar solo from Kevin Chokan. Damn near impossible to pick a vinyl now (1000 only) Good luck finding a copy.

  3. WELL... a captivating song (at the most) but why make it so precious? i dont mean you katonah of course.
there is maybe some policy of record labels to make the prices to go up?

  4. Love it, thanks a lot!

However, the dollar would first have to depreciate much further against the euro before I would pay $5300 to hear the rest of the album. Not sure if that day will ever come.
